Update on Youth Group for Tonight
TONIGHT AT 5:30PM
The youth group will be attending a worship night with Scripture and testimonies at Colonial Baptist (8963 Milton Carlisle Rd) tonight from 6-8pm. If you would like a ride, Pastor Jeff will be driving the bus and leaving First Baptist around 5:30pm and returning shortly after 8pm. It is also fine to meet at Colonial. See Pastor Jeff with any questions.
Plan to Attend our March Members’ Meeting
TONIGHT AT 6:45PM
Our next Members’ Meeting for 2025 will be TONIGHT at 6:45PM. We desire for these meetings to be regularly attended by the members of this church in order to receive updates on the direction of the church, make decisions, learn about member care needs, and hear testimonies from potential new members. Please come if you are able.
Parents’ Night Out
THIS FRIDAY APRIL 4TH AT 5PM
The youth group will be hosting a childcare opportunity for the families of our church on Friday, April 4th from 5-9PM. Pastor Jeff, Emma, and the youth group members will play with your children and feed them pizza in exchange for a donation to the youth camp fund. The kids will have fun playing with their friends, and you will get a date night!
Baked Potato Fellowship Lunch
SUNDAY APRIL 13TH AFTER WORSHIP
The next fellowship lunch will be on Sunday, April 13th. For most of you, this is the easiest fellowship meal we offer; the youth group and their parents will provide all of the food (baked potato bar, salad, dessert, drinks). We will have a donation bucket out for the youth camp fund. Plan to join us!
Easter Egg Hunt
SUNDAY APRIL 13TH AT 5PM
The families of NCkids would like to invite all children of the church to join us for an Easter Egg Hunt at the conclusion of NCkids on Sunday, April 13th. The hunt will be at approximately 6:30PM, but please feel free to come at 5PM to check out an NCkids night! We will be indoor or outdoor, depending on weather.
Good Friday Service
FRIDAY APRIL 18TH AT 7PM
Our church family gathers on Good Friday to focus on Christ’s atoning work on the cross. This is a family friendly service with Scripture, member testimonies, and songs. It is a special evening, but not an overly somber service. Plan to stay after the 7PM service for fellowship. If you would like to donate an item for the refreshments, please sign up on the bulletin board.

Bottles of Blessing
MARCH OUTREACH FOCUS
This is our last week to directly collect money for The Pregnancy Resource Clinic of Clark County. You can support them by collecting change in baby bottles or placing donations in an envelope. Make checks out to First Baptist Church, as we will donate in one lump sum.
Hearing Assistance
PLEASE LET US KNOW
We have personal headphones to help you hear more clearly during the service. If you need to use them regularly, a pair of headphones can be assigned to you. Please see Stan Mahurin if interested.
If you want to know more…
ABOUT THE GOOD NEWS
If you want to know more about Jesus and what his life, death, and resurrection have to do with you, please feel free to stay after the service and speak with Pastor Curt; he‘d love to talk with you. Or you can use the connection card located in the back of the pew to let him know you’d like to talk. Let us know the best way to contact you, and he’ll arrange a time to meet. You can also request more information about Jesus or our church by filling out a connection card online at fbcnc.churchtrac.com.

ABOUT BAPTISM OR MEMBERSHIP
If you believe that Jesus is your Savior and Lord but you’ve never publicly confessed your faith and joined a church through baptism, please consider taking this initial step that Jesus wants for all his followers. You can speak with Pastor Curt after the morning service. Please also let us know if you’ve already been baptized and are interested in becoming a member of our church.
