Upcoming Dates for Members

THIS MONTH
It is the time of year where we look at our budget for 2025. You will see a proposed budget presented by the finance committee in today’s bulletin. There will be a members’ meeting NEXT Sunday, November 10th, at 6:45PM. Plan to attend this meeting for member updates, building & church updates, and a chance to ask questions about the budget. Members will vote to approve the budget immediately following the service on November 17th.

Church Thanksgiving Lunch

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 17TH AFTER MORNING SERVICE
Please join us for this year’s Thanksgiving meal, immediately after the morning service on Sunday, November 17th. The turkey, mashed potatoes & gravy, and drinks are provided. Please bring two dishes to share. It will be easiest if you think of dishes that can be served at room temperature, stored in the refrigerator, or kept warm in a crock pot. Please talk to Candy Thompson with questions about food. We would LOVE to have you all there.

Christmas Food Baskets

COMMUNITY FOCUS
Our church works with Bethel Churches United to provide holiday food baskets for community members in need. Your family can be involved, either by donating a whole basket of food or by working with other church members to put together a basket. The sign up sheet is on the bulletin board in the foyer. You will be contacted in December about the number of people in the family you are assigned.

Coats and Clothing for Tecumseh Local Schools

COMMUNITY FOCUS
We’re still collecting items for children in need right here in our community. The focus is on NEW coats and NEW or GENTLY USED sweatpants or leggings for elementary students.

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes (Samaritan’s Purse)

MISSIONS FOCUS
We’re also collecting Christmas gifts for children around the world. There is information available in the foyer down by the gym. The deadline for shoeboxes is 11/17.

PLEASE LET US KNOW
We have personal headphones to help you hear more clearly during the service. If you need to use them regularly, a pair of headphones can be assigned to you. Please see Stan Mahurin if interested.
