Members’ Meeting

TODAY AT 1:30PM
Our July members’ meeting will be TODAY at 1:30PM. These meetings are a chance to stay informed and help make decisions regarding the physical needs of our church, but they are also a chance to hear from potential new members, make sure we are caring for our current members, and stay updated on the current direction and spiritual needs of the church. If you’re a member of FBCNC or are considering joining, please attend this meeting.

J.O.Y. Outing to Wright Flyer Museum and
Noodles & Company

TUESDAY, AUGUST 20TH AT 9AM
On Tuesday, August 20th, the J.O.Y. group will meet at church at 9AM and head over to the Wright Flyer Museum at the small airport in Miamisburg. They have a replica Wright “B” airplane and some small exhibits. Afterwards, they’ll have lunch at Noodles & Company which features various styles of pasta dishes, salads, and soups. Museum admission is free (donations appreciated), and the restaurant is around $10-$12. Come join them!

Christmas in July

OUTREACH FOCUS FOR JULY
Our special outreach focus for July will be collecting a monetary love gift to give to one of our overseas workers, Brad and Amanda. They will be here with us the first Sunday in August. There are some unique realities based on where they live. In the United States, we have countless locations within driving distance that fit a wide variety of budgets and still provide rest, relaxation, and a break from our daily responsibilities and routines. Life in Central Asia is much different, and expensive flights are required to get anywhere that we would consider a vacation or retreat. Please consider if you are able to bless this special family with a gift that might offset their travel expenses in the coming year. Please mark all gifts, “Christmas in July.”
