Church Picnic

JULY 5TH AFTER MORNING WORSHIP

Please plan to join us at the church picnic on Sunday, July 5 th . We are looking forward
to finishing out the holiday weekend with all of you at the Brick Shelter at Troy
Community Park. The picnic will be right after the morning service. The church is
supplying hamburgers, hot dogs, lemonade, tea, and water. Please bring side dishes
and/or desserts to share. It is also a good idea to bring a lawn chair for sitting out under
the shade trees and any recreation equipment you may want to use.

Memorial Service for Brenda Clucas

TUESDAY VISITATION AT 10AM, SERVICE AT 11AM

There will be a memorial service for Brenda Clucas here at the church on Tuesday,
June 23 rd . There will be a time to visit with the family at 10am, followed by a service at
11am. Immediately following the service, we will provide a luncheon in the gym. If you
would like to donate any food or help out, we have a signup list outside of the office or
you can contact Elaine Estes, Cindy Gulden, or Pastor Jeff for details. All are welcome
to attend.

Summer at FBCNC

MINISTRY FOCUS

Summer provides an opportunity to reset and refocus as we pause some of our weekly
and monthly ministry opportunities, while continuing others. We hope these months
provide you not only with increased chances for rest but also with new chances to
connect with people in our church family, whether through Sunday School classes,
serving at VBS, attending the church picnic, or other informal gatherings with people in
our church family. We also hope you take the opportunity over these months to pray
about how you want to serve in the coming school year. If you have feedback about
the existing ministries at FBCNC or ministries that you would like to see started, please
talk to Pastor Curt soon.

Off to Summer Camp

TEEN FOCUS

Be in prayer for our teens as they left for summer camp today. Let’s pray that it will be
a time of refreshing for them and that God will be heard and glorified!

Vacation Bible School

KID FOCUS

Plans are underway for VBS 2026. The theme will be “Outlast: Finding the Treasure
that Remains.” It will be August 3 rd – 6 th , and it’s going to be an awesome week on our
jungle island! We would love more volunteers; there are a variety of roles available and
most do not require any advance preparation. We just would love to have you there
sharing love with the kids who come and also getting to better know your church family.

We have personal headphones to help you hear more clearly during the service. If you need to use them regularly, a pair of headphones can be assigned to you. Please see Stan Mahurin if interested.
