Souper Bowl Lunch

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 8TH AT 12:30PM

We will again be having a soup fellowship lunch on Super Bowl Sunday, which is February 8th this year. The soup volunteers have already been lined up, so if you aren’t bringing soup, please consider bringing bread, finger sandwiches, salad, fruit, or a dessert. This has been a very well-received fellowship lunch in the past few years, and we are looking forward to gathering with you all again this year.

Members’ Meeting

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22ND AT 5PM

One of the essential parts of being a Baptist church is our belief that church members are responsible to care for each other as they follow the lead of the pastors. Members determine whether or not the church will move forward on important matters like who can be a member of the church, who can be a new leader, and what doctrines and beliefs the church affirms. We strive to stay informed about the needs and priorities of the church as a whole as well as individual member needs by attending quarterly members’ meetings. Our first members’ meeting for 2026 will be Sunday evening, February 22nd at 5PM. Youth group will meet after the meeting, but this will take the place of small group and NCkids for that night. If you have a question about members’ meetings, please talk to Pastor Curt.

BCU Food Pantry

COMMUNITY FOCUS

For February, we shift our focus to collecting non-perishable food items for the Bethel Churches United (BCU) Food Pantry here in New Carlisle. Please start bringing food donations to the gym end of the building.

Feed the Teens

CHURCH FOCUS

The youth leaders have said that beginning youth group with a meal has been extremely encouraging and effective. If you would like to provide a simple meal for the youth group, please sign up at fbcnc.churchtrac.com. We have now updated the online signup sheet with future dates for 2026.

Summer Camp

YOUTH FOCUS

It is time for families of teens to decide about summer camp at Crossings. $100 Deposits will be due on February 15th. The dates this year are June 21st through June 25th. We have an informational packet available if you would like to know more.

We have personal headphones to help you hear more clearly during the service. If you need to use them regularly, a pair of headphones can be assigned to you. Please see Stan Mahurin if interested.
